Happy early Fourth of July! I know I am looking forward to spending time with family and friends, barbecuing, and watching the fireworks tomorrow.
I wanted to wish everyone a safe and happy 4th! This year, like many, I am giving thanks to the tenacity and moxie of our founding fathers, who jeopardized everything for their beliefs.
They were all well-off men who didn’t need to risk being arrested, imprisoned, and executed. But they did, so that we could live in a free and democratic society and have certain unalienable rights – life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
