A couple of weeks ago, I shared some thoughts from a book I recently read – The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson. And today, I’m sharing a quote from that same book.
“Great success often starts from a tiny beginning—but there has to be a beginning.”
This quote got me thinking about another awesome book – Raving Fans. In this book, the authors discuss the concept of doing what’s expected of you, plus 1%, and how that is key to creating raving fans.
So, what if you did that for yourself? How would adding that 1% through tiny beginnings change your life? I say, test it out!
All you have to do is add 1% to anything positive you’re already doing. Gain 1% more knowledge, exercise 1% longer, read 1% more book pages. Over the course of doing this, you will exponentially increase your success.
As you go into the week, pick that one thing, stick with it, and reflect in a few weeks. I am confident you will see how much impact that 1% made.
