Every time I start to write about dying, I stop, mostly because everyone feels so different about the subject.
You might know that I carry a coin with me that says, “Memento Mori.” It’s a Latin phrase that means, “remember you must die.” This coin is a great reminder that whatever I am going through is just not that hard because I am going to die.
So in that same vein, if you died today, do the important people in your life know how you feel about them? Did you say I love you the last time you saw them? Do they know how much you care about them? Tell them. Leave nothing unsaid. We never know when our last day might be.
