I love, love, love this time of year. It seems like everybody is a little nicer and more grateful during the holiday season. But, on the flip side, this season can also create additional stress for some people.

So, in hopes of helping, I wanted to throw out a few Jeff tips on enjoying the holiday season with less stress.

Shopping: If you can’t buy it online and have to go to a brick-and-mortar store, get there when they open and be the first (or second) one in the store. Parking is easy, and everyone working will probably be a bit happier as their day is just getting started.

Smile: Not everyone has the same amount of holiday cheer, and it can be a rough season for some, so smile! If you’re at the mall, gas station, post office, or anywhere, a smile makes everyone feel just a little better.

Stop with the “have to” and “need to.” Instead, focus on gratitude. For example, swap, “Ugh. I have to go to the grocery store” to “I am so grateful I can put food on the table for my family.”

I hope that you and your loved ones have a wonderful holiday.

Life is good.

Jeff
