Here is a quote from author Gary John Bishop: “Give up the addiction to excuses and start by keeping the promises you make to yourself.” 

It’s amazing how we do this. If I tell you that I will meet you tomorrow at 6:00am for breakfast, I will be there. So why is it that when I commit to working out at 6:00am, I sometimes break that commitment to myself? 

It’s a wonder. 

So, what if in the weeks ahead, we focused on keeping promises to ourselves in the same way that we do to others?
