Scott Akerley
For nearly two decades, Scott Akerley has been a leading force in real estate settlement services, setting new gold standards for expertise, service and results. He has helped create an group of organizations whose reputation is second to none in the dynamic and complex California escrow and REO settlement markets.
Under Scott’s leadership, the Pango Group has formed to provide industry leading resources and reach with local expertise. The group’s member organizations provide personalized service to clients across California and the U.S. In addition to his role at the helm of Glen Oaks Escrow, Scott also serves as President and CEO of CV Escrow, American Trust Escrow and CMG Escrow.
Scott is a native of Glendale and continues to be a prominent member of the community, serving on the boards of Glendale Community College and the Glendale Chamber of Commerce. He has been named Glendale Businessman of the Year while Glen Oaks Escrow has been named Best Escrow Company of the Year for each of the past nine years.
Jeff Russell
Having worked together since 1997, Jeff and Pango Group President and CEO Scott Akerley co-founded American Trust Escrow in 2001. Together, they are part of an established, far-reaching team that provides high-quality, flexible service for their clients’ escrow needs across the state of California. Jeff now acts as the Executive Vice President of American Trust Escrow, Glen Oaks Escrow, CV Escrow, and CMG Escrow.
Jeff and Scott hold the same attitude about their employees: hire the right people, then get out of their way to let them do what they do best. This approach has helped American Trust Escrow grow from a small start-up to become part of an organization that employs more than 200 employees.
Jeff started his executive career in the high-tech industry, so was driven to move into a human-dominated field. He’s worked to humanize the escrow industry by bringing a local feel to every company within the organization. Jeff is a board member of the Los Angeles Escrow Association and lives in the Los Angeles area with his wife and daughter.
